You are looking for your internet browser. Hyper Text Transfer Protocol is abbreviated as http.

It would appear that your problem is with file association.

On your desktop, double click "My Computer "
Then click the "View" menu and select "Folder Options "
You will see 3 tabs accross the top. Click the "File Types" tab.

In the window under "Registered File Types" scroll down until you can see the one that says "HTML Document ".

Double Click it. This will open a new window. Under the "Actions" window, you will see 4 buttons:

New, Edit, Remove, and Set Default. Click the Edit button.
This will open another dialog box.

Click the "Browse" button located next to "Application used to perform action "

Find your default browser and select that as the application. If you want Internet Explorer, the correct path is:

    "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe "

Then click "OK ". This will close that dialog window. Then click "Close" to get rid of the other dialog window. Then click "Close" again to get rid of the final dialog window.

Close out the "My Computer" window. This should take care of the problem. If not, post back and hopefully I or someone else will know what else to try. Good luck.
