    AOpen PA256 MX/ Nec Mulitisync 3D ...Win98
When I start a game the display resets several times... click, click, ckick... I believe I have the latest drivers from Nvidia installed -> 4.13.01.1241 as shown in control panel/system/display adapter/ properties. I have the game display settings set to user defined/ Aopen PA256 MX.

Also, when computer is turned on, during boot up, AOpen logo is diplayed on screen...

Control panel/system/display adapters: Aopen adapter listed only once, i.e., there is not more than one display adapter shown...

Control panel/system/disply adapters/Aopen/properties/driver file details, lists 3 in following order, with lower 2 as subgroup of first:
    C:\Windows\system\NVDISP.DRV
    C:\Windows\System\NVMINI.VXD
    C:\Windows\System\vmm32.vxd (.vdd, .vxd)

    In Control panel/system/display:

NEC multisync 3D on Aopen PA256MX
I have twin view set to disabled...
PA256MX Properties/ GEForce2MX/ lists the corresponding driver files as mentioned above. (4.13.01.1241)

Control panel/system/monitors/ shows 2 monitors, 1 unknown, and the NEC.. have tried to eliminate the unknown, but windows detects it upon startup and replaces it.

What do I need to correct and how?

    Thanx in advance...

    Welcome to WindowsBBS. :)

Try, a right click on My Computer, select Properties/DeviceManager/Monitors and delete all listed. Re-boot and Windows should detect the monitor as a Default Monitor. Select it and update the drivers through the Properties. HTH ;)

    (Luga) Thanx, for your reply...
I performed the process as you described, however, I discovered that windows is now detecting 2 monitors, when I actually only have the one attached.

(all) In addition to the information in the original post above, I noticed that the monitor relays are resetting twice on inital boot up or powerup, then once boot sequence begins, the monitor resets 3-4 more times....

What main board are you using? Does it have integrated video? :)

    ...ASUS A7VE.
No on board, or built-in video option.
I think the Nvidia driver I'm using, is for dual monitors?

Have you tried the Live update Wizard in the Key Features field on this page? :)

You could also try some older drivers from here. You never know. ;)
