"rapid blaster"

My newbie friend complained of a tremendous amount of
prono pop ups. Turned out there was a rather agressive
program called "rapid blaster ". I suspect my friend downloaded
the program "accidentally ".
What does anyone know about this spyware program ?
Sybot says a bit and lists a website. However a warning if you visit the website you will be indundated with pop up ads of various types.
