Table in WORD97

    Using Word97, I generated a long table, with more than 1000 rows. Is there a quick way for me to determine <exactly> how many rows? Thanks. .... wdc

    yes. u have to select the entire table and then right mouse click and choose table properties. Then u should be able to see in the lines tab and in the colums tab the dimension of your table. This works in office2000/XP but i'm not shure about office97.

    I‘ve found a way to determine the number of rows (or columns) in a Table using WORD97.

    Highlight the table.
    Click Table/Cell Height and Width
    The resulting table shows (almost incidentally) the number of rows (columns).
