Can you block e-mail addresses on Outlook?

    You can block senders in Outlook Express, but all that really does is send the offending mail to the deleted items folder. The best way to deal with unwanted mail & never download it to your computer to begin with is ge a program like Mailwasher. You deal with the offending mail right on the server. Then download the Mail you want to keep.

    Try it, I think you'll like it. Scroll down & Get the latest stable version. Beta versions tend to be a bit buggy.

    To block senders, Open Outlook Express, click on Tools|Message Rules|Blocked Senders List.

    As Deloris stated, what this does is simply move messages from those addresses on the list to the deleted files folder. I agree that the way to go is Mailwasher.
