I connected my TV using analog RC from video card. I set the display settings to 'extend desktop' on the tv.

I get a clear image on the tv, but it is chopped in the middle, the right side of the screen runs on to the begining of the left side.

    should be:
    ---------------------

    A B C D E F
    ---------------------
    actually is:
    ---------------------

    E F | A B C D
    ---------------------

    I've tried adjusting screen position
    re-installing display adpt. drivers
and every other option in the properties menu

That effect results from the horizontal sync pulse occuring at the wrong time in the frame.

Is the image rolling from side to side, or is it rock steady but split? And, have you tried changing the refresh rate in Display Properties > Advanced > Adapter? At the worst, it will be no better.

I can get it to work fine w/ 600x400 resolution, but any other res, will cause the split.
