    Internet Explorer Version 6
    Windows XP

    :eek: Here's my IE6 problem.
    When browsing the internet, some graphics don't load. There's just an empty box with an X in the upper left corner. If I reload the page, some of the graphics load, but some don't.

    The 2nd problem I'm having, and I'm not sure if it's related to the above problem or not, involves hyperlinks. Many times, but not everytime, a hyperlink takes me to a blank page, with the error message, "Page Cannot Be Displayed." Now here's the weird part......I use Yahoo! to read the news, etc. On the right side of the page, is the "Ask Yahoo!" column. There are hyperlinks to several questions. Clicking on a question hyperlink, takes me to a blank page with the above error message, but if I click on the "Ask Yahoo! Archive" hyperlink, then click on the exact same question hyperlink, the page WILL load.....isn't that strange?

    I've uninstalled, then reinstalled IE6
    I've gone to the browser Tools>Internet Options>Security, Content, and Advance Tabs, and set everying to low, allowed all content, and enabled everything.

    I'd be greatful for any suggestions, or solutions.

    Hi HSokPhilly welcome

    I have windows me and am unfamilure with xp Soo
    aol has its own temporary internet size and place
    You should first try just deleting internet temp --should be with aol something like this start > programs > online services >
    aol somewhere in there will be system information
    one tab within will let you empty the cacth ---
    do after a fresh start before connecting
    also go to control panel > internet options on first page
    delete files do again this time checking the offline content
    You should next go to security tab > with green blue globe highlighted and use that default level button please
    I would do the same with the advance tab to set to default.

    Usualy these empty placecard holders are caused by to many
    temp files---why I dont know
    Can be many other things to so let this forum know
    if problems still happen

    I to experience a problem from time to time with some graphics not loading. In my case I've noticed that it occurs more frequently with sites that have a large number of graphics and when the net seems to be busy.

    A couple of questions;

    Does this happen all of the time or just occassionally?
    Does it effect all the graphics on a page or only some?

    As for your second problem, take a look at the following links and see if they contain a solution to the problem;

    Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 281679

    cant open "new window" in ie 6

    IE6 opens blank (empty) windows
