    Hello all!

    When installing an Office package I get Outlook too. In the past I have deselected Outlook since OE serves my needs, or at least I think so.

    Are there good reasons to install Outlook and abandon OE?

    Thanks for Your time,
    Christer

    Outlook, which comes as part of Microsoft Office, is the full blown version of the program, and has several options that OE does not. Outlook Express is the cutback version and is an integral part of Internet Explorer. There are those in both camps who prefer one version over the other. The following KB article from Microsoft describes the basic differences between the two;

    Differences Between Outlook and Outlook Express

    The bottom line to your question is; Which one serves YOUR needs better? Different Strokes for Different Folks.......

    HTH :)
