script errors..

i am pretty sure i still have a script problem from a previous virus (a version of love letter). when i open "my network neighborhood" or "my briefcase" or "control panel" (or pages linked to control panel) the way that the contents of the page are shown are very odd. upon opening any of these pages a script error comes up that gives me the option of continuing or not continuing to run script on the given window, selecting yes or no doesnt effect the situation. the same script appears every time an item is selected from the window. this hasnt posed me with any great problems until now, i have a huge amount of temporary internet files taht i cant get rid of. the action freezes up every time i try to delete them no matter what route i take. can anyone help me with either the script problem or getting rid of the temp files.

you can download and install Microsofts Script Engine 5.6 from
in case its been currupted

You can also delete temp internet files by going : start > programs
> accessories > system tools > disk cleanup
