I myself only use 3 fonts, but my computer, I don't know. And I have a crapload of fonts on here. How do I know which ones are safe to delete and which ones aren't?

About 75 fonts are installed by w2k setup, and I wouldn't delete any of those. Additional fonts are often installed by programs. To see which are the w2k fonts, look in the Fonts directory of someone who has just installed w2k and not yet added additional fonts.

Is that the ONLY way to know which ones to delete and which to not?

The easiest way. Another way would be to check the Properties of each font file and see which were created on the day you installed w2k and which were not.
