I have unistalled and re-installed both the software and hardware numerous
times and it has not rectified the problem.
    Keyboard AURIGA Model CKBMOOI
I tried visiting their sight but nothing.
    Problem examples below:::::

To produce @ I have to hit the lowercase of this key ".

I have not yet found which key will produce the backward slash as when I hit the backward slash key it produces #.

The backward slash plus shift produces~ whilst the ~ produces¬¬ and so on.

Yeh I know...get another keyboard..............but that is no guarantee to fix the problem is it really. Best sort out the problem first then think about another keyboard methinks.

    Am at your mercy

    thanks

Check in Control Panel>Keyboard and see what language the keyboard is set for. Most use English [United States].

No problem there, I use this keyboard to type all my postings and whilst you may not be able to pick up the American accent it still types in english.

I took it back to the computer shop and when connected to their computer it worked O.K. suggesting that it was probaly a software conflict.

I went into Sysconfig and unticked everything in services and startup but it didn't help in fact following that I got a naughty message fro MS saying that I had to reactivate as I had had too many hardware changes.p
    Keyboard Problem still with me.

    Hi roy66

Have you tried going into "Word" or your favorite word processor program and see if you get the same "Key Errors" using several different font's. Possible you have something going on in your font file's?

I have tried ALL the above as well as purchasing a new keyboard...no diff.. exactly the same errors.

I have been able to work around this in most instances with the exception of the backward slash which is pretty critical and I can't duplicate it at all so some absolutely essential postings can't be done.

I have had the keyboard back to the supliers of my PC, tested OK on their equipment.

    Obviously a software conflict somewhere?????

    any ideas PLEASE.

This problem has been fixed.........see below for solution.

The keyboard input locale is set to the wrong country.

go to regional settings,go to the language tab and click on details to check if ur key board is installed as an "ïnternational" keyboard....this happened to me quite some time ago....
i dont remember y i had this problem but changing the settings to an international keyboard seems to fix the problem....

    Thanks to all
