HELP Error mesg

    Can some one please help me with this error mesg when I log in to my e-mail I keep getting this error mesg Wuauboot has caused an error in KERNEL 32.DLL. you must now close and Reboot.:mad:

    Hi bosslady415
    If I'm not mistaken, that's an automatic windows update that's causeing this error. Go to Run.....type in msconfig.........click the tab marked start-up....and find a file marked wuauboot.exe and uncheck it.
    See if you still get the error?

    ThanKs for the help but I'm still getting the error went up to start up and could'n fine it there

    I'm not a ME user but I think you have to
    go to Start----Settings----Control Panel---
    Auto updates(something like that)
    and disable it from there:D

    Did you go through msconfig, as suggested, or were you looking in your start up folder under your programs list?

    I went though msconfig

    Hi Daizy I did not look in start up folder .I went though msconfig as you suggested, and it was'n there.:(

    What do you have checked under msconfig's start up tab?
