    Hi Folks,
I've just subscribed to this board and having done a search regarding a problem I'm having I found this thread.

I am having this same problem when I setup a TCPIP printer.
I point it at the IP address, Windows users the "Generic network card" and the printer sets up ok.

When I try to print, the document sits in thw que and then fails and put the previously described message in the event log.

Could someone let me know if there is an answer?

    Many Thanks in advance.

    Richard

If your print device supports LPD, use LPR on the client. See 324078
