I just installed W2K server this morning and saw a Start Menu folder somewhere ( I forgot where ) and it wasn't in a folder that I thought it should be in, so I pulled it on to the desk top thinking I would need to figure out where it went. Now my start button doesn't work, as in *nothing happens* not a blip not anything when I push it. I'm just going to reinstall over the existing system folders this time but I sure would like to know how I broke it and how to fix it.
    TIA:(

What about moving the folder back where it was?
Documents and Settings\user\ or something like that...

Thanks, upon further reflection I think I may have done the damage during an attempt at folder redirection after installing Active Directory. I vaguely remember trying to configure start menu options in a Group Policy that I set up according to instructions I found at Technet.
