Been unable to get email in Outlook 2000 on W2K and noticed that it's using 100% CPU (as registered by Task Manager). I also notice that CPU usage returns to normal when I "End Process" MAPISP32.EXE.

Does anyone know what might cause this?

I believe this is a bug in the latest Office 2000 service pack. You might want to go to www.microsoft.com/office. There's a page under Downloads similar to Windows Update that will scan your Office installation and offer up any patches you might need.
