Windows 95 on floppies

    Hi All,
    can someone send me the cab 18 file on the windows 95 floppies (disk 18). some how mine got erased. also, can someone let me know how to put it back on to floppy (how can i format the disk to 1.6mb).

    You can't format a floppy that way on a normal machine. It was MS' quick-and-dirty way of preventing copying.

    Re the contents of the floppies, they can be found here (the full list of 95 floppies is included), for both DMF and non-DMF versions. If you have a Disk 18, yours is non-DMF.

    If you get the files you can use Winimage to format the floppy to 1.68 mb.

    Yeah, and Drive Image 2002 thinks it can do that also but I have never tested it. ;)
