Running W2K Pro on a new Compaq computer. I have a USB scanner that, when hooked up, causes the boot process to freeze on the W2K splash screen with the blue progress bar. If you unplug the device, and plug it in once the system is booted, everything works fine. I have updated everything I can think of, but this problem persists. Any suggestions?
