Microsoft Word won't open--THANKS!

    For 3 weeks, I have not been able to open my Microsoft Word. I would get the message: "Winword has caused an error in WINWORD.EXE. Winword will now close." I uninstalled/installed Word, installed a new disc w/Office, tried opening Word from many different ways, etc., etc. THEN, tonight I registered with you to plead with you to HELP ME! As I looked over previous problems/answers regarding applications, I found my miracle answer...Go to Search, type "normal.dot" and delete it. I did that and WORD OPENED! I can't thank you enough. You're a GREAT service! THANKS! THANKS!
