Any word on EZAntivirus 6.1

    My machine sometimes freezes up when I'm playing MP3s on IrfanView while surfing the Web. It's only done this since I installed EZAntivirus 6.0. Most of the time it functions well, but every couple weeks, the system freezes. I heard they're working on 6.1 which uses the same engine as 5.5. Has it been released yet? eTrust isn't very good about upgrade notices.

    I downloaded the setup file. I'm sposed to uninstall the old one first, right?

    OK, got it installed. It took forever to uninstall the previous version, so I stopped it and tried to uninstall manually, but it had already done it and just never changed screens. The second time I ran the install, it went w/o a hitch. Go figure.

    Does the new program allow you to choose which server to download updates from? It downloads from ftpez.ca.com and I'd rather download from the old one, as I've had problems with their new server in the past.

    Couldn't find an option to use another server, so I guess I'm at the mercy of the new one. However I do like that they went back to the old engine.
