Need help with IE 6

    Have had IE 6 for quite some time running on Win98SE. Have applied all updates. When accessing some web sites, IE just shuts down. No error messages or warning. It is as if I have closed it down.

    This is a long shot, but if you have any popup stoppers, you may have the problem I had with some of them---they misidentified some sites and closed IE. If you have one, try turning it off.

    I finally found it. I had to re-install Java 2 runtime.
