Error 1606 Could not access Network Location error trying NAV install

    Just installed Win XP and am trying to install Norton Anti Virus...the following error message pops up and won;t allow install

    ERROR 1606 Could not access Network Location "::documents and settings\all users\desktop

    My research on Microsoft & Symantec's web site's suggest a registry fix under "administrative tools "....I have done this x3 and still the same deal...any ideas
