I bought a Kodak CX4230 ditigal camera. It won't read between camera and computer. Kodak says my USB controller: SiS 7001 PCI to Open host controller is the problem. Says I have to get a new mother board. Any suggestions! HELP!

If your camera has removeable memory card you could install a card reader instead of downloading right from the camera.

Thanks for your suggestion Russ. I checked on the readers but I am not one to fail at something. I deleted all USB devices, printer, scanner, camera. Uninstalled camera software. Downloaded upadated version and a few hours later...lol...viola!!!! My camera loads to my computer. P.S. all other USB devices worked as well. Thanks
