2 computers running Win.ME, file and print sharing set up on Net Beui.
Shares files and folders OK but will not share the printer, Lexmark 3200 Jet. The shared computer keeps saying "printer is offline" but printer is on and I cannot see any place to enable "online" There is much more to this but is anyone familiar with this problem? I use TCP/IP for internet and have disabled file and print sharing there. Both computers have their own IP address through a hub and common cable modem.

Doing a quick search at Lemark's site, I found this:

    General Info

Looks like that printer isn't designed to work over a network, but may work if you're lucky.

I suggest you call the manuf of the printer you are trying to share and ask if the printer is shareable with your OS and the printer driver you are using.

    Good luck,

    Dan
