I tried to install a versatile mouse with a program called mouse suite. My screen resolution was ******* up for days wouldn't go to the right 770z setting, was locked on 16 colors.low pixels, blocky type. I uninstalled mouse suite and tried a variety of trouble shoots and finally got my display back to normal, now a file is missing, according to my boot menu the "Pelmouse.VxD ". apparantly my dvd driver has also disappeared so I don't have that. I tried to download a dvd "zoomplayer and it said I didn't have filters for dvd. Is there any way back to normal? its an IBM 770z Thinkpad laptop with an external floppy (not IBM) and an internal cd/dvd with Windows98SE installed.
