    Hi bmccullough

    Welcome to the boards!
Your question is a little hard to answer without a bit more information? Here are the system specs for Windows Me. If you've got the minimum, you should be good to go as far as upgrading your other machine.
As far as copying data onto floppy from your gateway to your other one, you should be fine as long as it fits on the floppy?

Also you want to check and see if the hardware in your 95 system has drivers for ME.

    Hi again
Thank you for the note. But I am even more confused than ever. Do you have the Windows ME disk to upgrade your 95 machine with? Let's put aside the floppy thing for a minute, as I'm not sure what files you wanted to copy from one computer to the other yet. Let's just concentrate on making sure you're able to upgrade.

I believe bmccullough is asking if it is feasible to copy the ME O/S from the Gateway PC to floppies, and then install the ME O/S to the Aptive PC from the floppies. It seems to me the Gateway PC would have its characteristics and attributes embedded in the registry, etc. and the settings would not be compatible when transfered to another PC. Additionally, one would need volumes of floppies.

bmccullough? Cna you please post back and let us know if it's as KenKeith suggests, and you want to copy the system over, using floppies?

We'd like to help if we can?
