Resolved Windows 10 Support Issue

Helped a friend with a computer problem recently and they were concerned about the end of support and said they would like to get the year's extension. Windows Update settings gave an option to enroll in the extended support for one year. They were happy to pay the $30 that was indicated.
However, when I went through the enroll process, we were able to enroll for free - with a message about the fact that the computer had been backed up.
Came home and went through the same process with my computer - W 10 Pro - 22H2. I got the same message and was able to get protection extended to Oct 2026. However, I don't remember "backing up my computer to Microsoft". Do you think we have legitimate extensions?

 

Thanks for finding the video. I checked my Windows Update settings and I get the message "Your PC is enrolled to get Extended Security Updates." So it seems that all is well.
