Not sure when this actually started but curious as to why it did? It will occasionally pop up while I'm reading online, but it disappears so fast I can't read all that it says. (something like cmd exe system 32). Haven't noticed any interference with anything other than it's just annoying!lol It also shows up as a (dark) blank screen when I initially connect to the internet. Happens pretty quick but doesn't say anything. Not sure if that's related to the cmd popup??
I've done a Malwarebytes scan, but nothing showed up there.
Old lady here, so limited understanding on how computers work!lol Hope someone can help explain this to me & how to possibly rectify it!

Hit the PRINT SCREEN (prt sc sysrq) Key and paste it like in Word or even in an email and read it.

Hi Vicki, I would suggest doing the DISM and sfc checks.
Right click on Start > Terminal (Admin) > UAC may ask if you want to make changes > Yes > Administrater:W > where the cursor is Type > DISM /Online / Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth > Enter.
(Note space before the forward slash).
When this Check finishes, type at the cursor > sfc /scannow > Enter. (again space before forward slash).
When this check finishes, Exit on Close out X.

This is worth using to see if there are any OS Files out of order.

If you ever need to check for Gremlins, you can use MS MRT.
Right click Start > Run > MRT > OK . UAC > Yes > Microsoft Windows Malicious Removal page will open > Next >
new page and this should be checked for Quick Scan by Default. Click OK and let it run.
When the check is finished > Exit.out.

Hope this is useful and helps with your flash screen problem.

Thanks MrBill for the suggestion. I did try to do a "print screen" when this happened, however before the application would open, the "cmd" thing dissapeared! It pops up so fast and never at any specific time, so hard to anticipate when it will happen.
retiredlearner, I must not be typing the DSIM command properly (tried several times) and this is what it shows Powershell.jpg

I also did the MRT scan and that came back ok. Did the sfc scan too:
    SFC results.jpg

Haven't noticed any cmd popups today, but as I have said, there's never any specific time they do! I can live with it, but was more curious as to why it even started happening!

Happy 4th of July for those of you celebrating!

Hi Vicki, From the screen print, sfc found corrupt files and fixed them.
    Fingers crossed it's fixed.;)
