    Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.1115.300
Is it possible to turn-off "safelinks" in Windows 11 Home version. Just passing the cursor over a picture or anything else that has a link, automatically displays the full safelink address which takes up much of the page. It is a real nuisance as it is hard to remember to always keep the pointer in the margins when moving it up and down the page. I have looked in all the "Settings", even those in my Outlook.com online account, and can find no listings for a "Safelinks" option.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hi Steve, I read the instructions you gave above, and several others, before posting here. However, whenever I try to open outlook.live.com it automatically opens Outlook Mail. None of the Settings menus there lists either Premium or Security and none of them mentions Safelinks. I also longed in to my Microsoft account and none of the Settings there list Premium or had any mention of Safelinks.
I know this is an New Outlook Mail issue as Safelinks are not on in my Edge browser.

Any further advice would be appreciated,

    Dennis

Did you see the last line:

(Third-party email accounts such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail are not covered by the advanced security features.)

Is your email account a Hotmail or Outlook.com account? If not, it looks like you won't find the settings.

Thanks Steve, that explains it as I do use a third party email account. I'll wait a few months for them to correct this. If they don't, I'll have to change email programs. Thanks again for your help.
