Resolved Sender rejected server error in Outlook

    I'm getting "The server responded: 550 5.1.0 <> sender rejected. The email you are sending as must match the email address you used to auth. Please check your SMTP settings." from Outlook every time I open it. There is nothing in the outbox and I have successfully sent and received messages.
    Using W10, Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2410 Build 16.0.18129.20100) 32-bit.
    Ideas?

    It seems others have had similar experiences when their ISP changes how things work on their side.

    Thanks, Bill, but Francis' fix didn't work for me. I can send and receive OK, so I'm not going to waste brain cells on this. Lord knows I have presious few left as it is.
