Couldn't find any info in "Search".
Comulative updates have successfully updated regularly every month, but the .NET Framework updates have been missing for the last 2 months. Is that an issue? Thanks

    Hi,

Have you ensured that the updates for .NET Framework are actually failing to install or are just not being offered for your system?

Have you tried visiting the Microsoft website and downloading the .NET Framework updates manually? Are you using Windows 10 22H2?

Updates for .NET Framework is not offered regularly every month, well, not on my system at least. The most recent, KB5042352, was installed in august.

Thanks for the quick replies. I manually check every AM for updates; mostly to download any Security Intelligence updates for the Microsoft Defender Antivirus. Then, overkill and probably not necessary, I do a quick scan. Then additionally, every Saturday PM, I do a full scan. Sometimes the .NET Framework and Comulative updates show up in the manual updates; sometimes the system checks for updates in off hours.

Evan Omo: Windows 22H2. The updates aren't being offered; not failing to install, and I haven't looked for them at Microsoft. In the 2nd reply to my thread, Christer stated that he hasn't been offered the .NET update since August, when he got his last update. That was my last update as well, so everything might be just fine.

Christer: My system seems to be on the same schedule as yours, and my last update was in August too.

If the last update was in August and it installed successfully then you are probably fine. If you checked your update history and you haven't had updates fail to install then you are good and there isn't anything you need to worry about.

Evan Omo: Thanks for your reply and assurances; I'm sure you're right! I just like to stay one step ahead of the gremlins that can occasionally invade my computer.
