Firefox running on my DeskTop (Windows 10) has synchronized with Firefox running on my Samsung Android without a problem since it was installed a few years ago. Now it no longer synchronizes. According to the mobile, the last time was on 11 aug 2024.

    Anyone else?

I only use FF as a backup in case. It crashes more than I change socks and underware. I find Edge to be far supperior to it.

Firefox has never crashed on neither my DeskTop, LapTop or Mobile. It has only stopped synchronizing between the DeskTop and Mobile. The LapTop is not included in the sync.

I'm still fighting this problem. I'm suspecting that either the DeskTop or the mobile phone no longer connects to the "cloud". Whether it's Mozilla cloud or Samsung cloud, I don't know but I believe it is Mozilla cloud.

It seems like I may be on the right track. On one occasion, when I was fiddling on the mobile phone, a popup appeared telling me to log in if I want to see the synchronized "stuff" but I am logged in!

Log out from both desktop & mobile Firefox. Then login again. It may remind Firefox to start sync again.

I've got that on the "to-do-list" but will have to remember the passwords first! I'll report back the result.

    Well, I'm slightly embarrassed!

I was about to test logging out and logging in again but came to think of other apps which required an update to continue working. Firefox worked fine in all respects, except synchronizing.

On the DeskTop, you are prompted to install updates to Firefox when available but obviously not on the Mobile Phone. After updating the app ... ... it immediately synchronized!
