Resolved trying to clone WIN10 to a new computer.

    Any luck with your drive problem yet?
    I wonder whether BIOS settings are holding. I have AMD BIOS's which require a Double click to make the change stick.
    If you just "click" on Enable or Disable once it does not make the change. FYI.

    Dealing with a few physical problems but I am still trying to solve problem. BIOS settings appear to be holding. Good point, tho'.

    As a matter of fact, I have just re-read the entire thread and find that no only have we seemed to have strayed from the initial problem, but I can't make heads nor tails of the whole thing.

    I think it best to mark this one closed and start another at some time when my cognitive abilities and eyesight a back to par.
