This seems to be a common problem but I cannot find a solution that actually works. I can find a way to pin to the taskbar that works but not the Start menu. Does anyone have a definitive way to pin a bat file to the start menu? TIA.

Don't you see "Pin to Start" with you right-click on the .bat file?

Thanks for the reply. No, only pin to taskbar. That is the problem.

I did but it said it will not work for Home. Odd that something that should be simple is so difficult.

Sorry - don't have Home on any systems here. Not sure why yours is missing, or why any of those solutions don't work to restore it. Hopefully you can get this resolved. If you do, please post the solution back here.
