Bad IL range running a .exe file

    Hi problems come in pairs at least, so the 2nd for the day

    I have created an .exe 64 bit to do some chores. It work perfectly in many PC using Win 7 & Win 10 v21H1. But in one particular Win10 v21H1 it flag the error Bad IL Range. Any idea what is happening?

    My current strategy is to reinstall Win10 v21H1 using Update Assistant & see what happens ie just hope for the best.

    Have to ask if you Googled-> Bad IL Range
    And read all the articles?

    Read one, not getting anywhere yet. Due to other PC no issue, i had rule out virus, hence reinstall. Keep finger crossed.

    After reinstalling W10 v 21H1, the problem "IL Range" remains. I then checked the Installed Windows Feature and found .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services > TCP Sharing BUT .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 & 3.0) is missing. So I install the NF 3.5 BUT STILL NOT RESOLVED.

    About to run out of option to resolve. Help!

    Hi FuzMic, the .exe File you are using, do you use a USB drive to install it on the various computers you run?
    Are you sure it's not corrupted?

    And - just to confirm - is that 1 PC having problem with a 64 bit OS?
