I have been trying for at least two weeks to get information on why my Canon printer will not scan. I have been on the Canon site and other information sites but cannot find the driver they are asking for. Here is the error message:
IJ Network Scanner Selector EX2 cannot be found.
    Reinstall scanner driver.
    Scanner driver will be closed.
    Code3,208,0

Please help me find the solution to this problem.
    Thank you.

I'm sorry to say this site did not scan the document. I still get the Code3,208.0. I think this might be for a wired printer but I am using this printer as a wireless printer. Do you have any other suggestions. And thank you for helping me.

Jean - I have no experience with printing or scanning wirelessly as all my peripherals are hard wired. One possible solution is to try Vuescan which I use successfully for a Canon Lide 35 flatbed scanner for which there are no Windows 10 drivers and for a Nikon Coolscan film scanner.

There is a free trial available - give it a try although I don't know if it works with wireless connections

Hi Jean, Have you seen this Youtube video regarding wireless connection of your Canon to comp?
    Canon TS9020 Scanner
It seems to be a very comprehensive explanation of the process including installation of the drivers.

Open a Web browser and enter this URL to access your Canon device:
    ip-address-of-your-scanner

    Sample URL:
    http://192.168.1.120

HP network printers have the scan function in the Web interface, Canon might have it too.

How to Find the IP Address of a Printer

If you are trying to find a printer's IP address in Windows, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Windows key, type Devices and Printers and press Enter.
    2. Locate the printer whose IP address you’re trying to find from the list of displayed printers.
    3. Right-click the printer and choose Printer Properties. In some instances, the IP address is shown in the Locations box on the General tab. If not, proceed to the next step.

I take care of all my Mom's finances since my Dad passed, this includes helping her with computer issues. I log onto her computer remotely, every time she wanted something printed, she'd have to fiddle with the printer to get it to connect via Wi-Fi. what should have taken 30 seconds would take 8-10 minutes.

She had a Canon and it never worked. We switched to HP and that was a nightmare. I have since switched her to Brother. I use them at work and they simply work all the time.

There are quirks with printer set ups. I have over the years used HP, Canon and Epson AIO units.
Some models required the unit to be connected via cable prior to using and setting up for wireless use.
This was to enable recognition of IP Address.

My latest HP AIO printer has a Default action to go Offline (seems to be overnight when not used).
There are settings to overcome this, but things like that can be a PIA until you sort them out.;)

I was finally able to get my printer to scan again. Don't ask me how but I think it was I installed the correct driver but do not know which one worked. I loaded a lot of them.
