Problems with Dragon naturally speaking

Running DNS 12.5 on Windows 7. Two problems.
One. In order for DNS to work before putting computer to sleep it is required to exit Dragon. This operation no longer works. I cannot exit at all.
Sometimes in waking up it is still operational and at other times DNS is not functioning so I do a restart. I tried to load DNS. But there are two steps required for having DNS operational
1. Load user profile. 2. Initialize. Without completing these two steps DNS is nonfunctional. These two steps do not complete after the first restart.
So I must restart again and now DNS will properly load and is fully operational.
ideas to help me in this would be greatly appreciated

Your response did not address any of my issues. To reiterate.
1. Dragon profile is not update successfully when clicking yes to update it just gets hung up & I have force the computer to shut down.
2. Dragon does not successfully shut down before putting computer to sleep.
3. Frequently in waking the computer up and Dragon is active but does not successfully work. Since I cannot shut Dragon down I have to force restart.
4. Quite frequently Dragon loads profile but will not initialize it therefore is inoperative. This requires me to restart the computer again.
Question – should I just reinstalled Dragon? BUT it does not allow me to back up the profile I tried that too and it is not working they would be ridiculous to have to re-do the whole profile which took many months to create.
Am frustrated kindly see what you can do to answer my questions. I thank you.

 

I have Googled "Problems with Dragon Naturally Speaking 12.5 in Windows7" and there seem to be many users having all sorts of problems.
I do not use Dragon or have any intention to use a like software, so I must bow out of trying to help you as I'm out of my depth,
but would sincerely suggest that you disclose more info about your comp details.
RAM amount seems to be a definite requirement to handle Dragon from what I read.
Any further help from other BBS members may need to know this info.

 

lenovo 64 bit system
8 GB Ram
2.5 GHz chip
worked fine for 3 yrs then went flop
System is quite sufficient to Run Dragon as I understand it.
must use due to disability.

Have you read through these Release notes on DNS 12.5?

 

have read that document does not actually address any of my problems. thanks. Can't evm b/u profile error message comes up
