Something is triggering this issue. My screen will flash and all the icons on the right side will disappear and the icons on the left side will become non-functional for about 25 seconds and then all is well. Then 30-40 seconds later it does it again. I've read other concerns on this site and the web but I still can't solve the problem. It's annoying.

Hi joe645, have you checked Device Manager for any exclamation marks?
Are Graphics drivers up to date?
Have you checked in Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Select which Icons appear on screen.
    Are your Updates installed OK?

Did a Google on your problem and found one guy had a USB plugged in to his comp which was causing the problem.
I would suggest you make your comp "bare bones" and see if it works OK.
Have you run your comp in Safe Mode with networking to see if the flashing occurs?

Yes, I have also googled the problem and find a multitude of answers none of which have helped. I can stop it by restarting but then something will trigger it and it will start over.

Hi joe645, Is your Profile up to date?
Is the comp info current and did you Upgrade from W7 to W10?
You could have a bad/loose connection.
Did the problem continue in Safe Mode?

Yes, profile is up o date, W10 newly installed (new motherboard and cpu) No loose connections. Safe mode doesn't provide me with any new data. A task or program is triggering the issue, and clean re-boot solves it until the next time.
