    Evening folks,

I'm having some issues updating to Win10 1909. The update reaches about 72% and then fails, listing the Error code: (0x80070003). I am currently using V. 1809.

I have tried using Windows Media Creation Tool to reinstall a fresh version of Windows 10, but to no avail. I get as far as the installation process before it terminates with a simple message of "Installation has failed.", with no error code listed. I have not tried using WMCT from a Flash Drive, but I may try it if necessary. However, I have also been unable to do any Bootup Repairs or System Resets from the Advanced Startup Menu.

Would love any advice in this matter. Thank you.

Hi Tom, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

I would try booting from a USB flash drive with Windows 10 on it and performing a clean install of Windows 10 that way and actually wiping the drive partitions and starting from scratch and see if that works.

Welcome to WindowsBBS Tom, I would also suggest you only have 1 drive connected and all peripherals disconnected and Disable any 3rd party AV's while doing the install MS Defender will do all the protection you need.

When you try to install from the media created by Windows Media Creation Tool, you should not use the option to get the latest updates while doing the install. Just let it go with what it has on the media.
