Resolved Update stuck

    Hi, this morning 2/9/20 windows started an update, it has been updated for the last 7 hours and stuck at 91% for the last 2 hours. Is this normal? What if anything can I do?
    “Working on updates 91%. Don’t turn off your PC. This will take a while.”

    Is this before or after a restart?

    I don't know your time zone but I would let it churn over night to see what eventually happens, if anything.

    I turned it on this morning and started the update, it may have restarted during , but I didn’t restart it. In Central time btw.

    No. When I got up this morning computer had shut down, I have anti virus set to run and shut down. This morning when I turned it on it said something like undoing changes made to your computer. Apparently the update did not finish.

    What anti-virus are you using?
    If it is a 3rd party AV I would recommend you disable it while the update is installing.
    MS Defender is all that is needed for W10 to operate with without problem.
    It's also prudent to disconnect ALL peripherals while an update is installing especially when you experience problems. ;)
