KB4530734 breaks my system (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit). After the update has been installed, the system initiates a restart, runs a test, can not repair and shuts down. The result is the same through Microsoft Upate or via the from Microsoft Update Catalog downloaded file. Anyone else?

    I did read that article.

KB4490628 was installed in March 2019.

Different versions of KB4474419 were installed in March 2019, August 2019 and September 2019. The last one has since been replaced by several other updates.

I missed KB4511786 and I will report back when it has been downloaded, installed and followed by KB4530734.

I find it strange that Microsoft Update doesn't offer KB4511786 as a prerequisite for KB4530734 and since it failed, it has not been downloaded and installed "silently".

Since KB4511786 was "strongly recommended" but not a mandatory prerequisite, my hopes weren't high and once again, after the third failure, I had to put my trusted old Ghost to work.

I think I'll just pass on this one and install the next (last?) one in January.

Maybe I'll try to install KB4530692, the Security-only update, to find out if that one too will mess up things for me but not right now.

The result was the same installing KB4530692, without or with KB4511786 installed (yes, I tried twice).

I checked the "errormessage" and in addition to OS-version, it said:

    AutoFailover
    Missing OsLoader

Well, KB4534310 delivers the same result. I've searched the web and it seems to be a hit or miss update (KB4530734 that is, no news on KB4534310 yet) with different problems.

Good thing that I'm well under way migrating to Windows 10 Pro on this computer ... ... !
