The download page for version 5.76 still links to version 5.75 and the september version has not been offered on neither my Windows 10 nor my Windows 7 systems.

Hopefully they'll wake up ... ... sooner rather than later.

I wonder if the 5.76 is the typo and 5.75 is actually the correct version number?

I reported it so "hurry up and wait" to see what happens next.

Well, you could compare download file sizes - or just wait to see what happens.

Exactly the same properties, including the digital signature.

My highlighting in red. The file that I downloaded in august, "Windows-KB890830-x64-V5.75.exe" is the same as in your quote.

In my quote, the "date published" is 9/5/2019. The question is why it got updated when there's no new version? In august, did the version number read 5.75 and the version number 5.76 is a typo made in september? A version number that never was ... ... or will the next actual update become 5.76?

    All questions rhetorical!

Nice find! :) That said, to me, someone at MS still dropped the ball on this. If no updates for September, then why post V5.76 was available? A minor issue but still... .

    Oh well.
