    In Google Chrome I was searching for a Driving Directional Map and as it turns out I mistakenly down loaded "My Way" .... which has taken over from Google as my default Browser. I haven't been able to find a way to delete this program - can anyone help please

    Have you looked in Control Panel/Programs and Features to see if it is listed there and then tried to uninstall it?

    Thanks for that Evan, I'll certainly save your guide. And all the others that offered possible solutions.
    I am about to Mark Thread as Solved. Can't believe our simple it worked out. I decided to run the Free Malawarebytes it showed a whopping 269 pups, 1 registry and 2 files. I transferred them to quarantine and restarted and MyWay was history. Google Chrome search browser is back. Turn on and off 3 times and all seems fine now... Again, thanks for all that took the time to help me....cheers

    Malwarebytes is the best for sure, BUT NOT the only tool you should use 296 PUPS are a lot and while MBA-M will remove most there are occasional parts of the files that remain. There is not one tool that can find everything. You also for sure need to follow Evan's guide and at a BARE MINIMUM use AdwCleaner, HitmanPro. I would recommend that you do follow his advice.
    Also, F.Y.I. one of the best driving direction page I have found is;
    https://www.google.com/maps/dir/@40.5640652,-85.6742982,15z

    If Malwarebytes found that many infections on your machine, you really should either run the rest of the programs in my guide to make sure no other infections remain on your system, or you should read this and post a new thread in the Malware and Virus Removal Forum to make sure your computer is completely clean.

    You more than likely have other malware infections on your system that Malwarebytes did not pick up.
