Setting used USB stick in View>Sort by> Ascending, but on opening the USB stick, find that files/programs are not listed in Ascending order. This has started just recently.

Is this with the stick in the whole time or does it change after you put it back in?

Next time before you click the VIEW button - hold down the CTRL key while doing the three clicks.

Checked again and find inserting the USB stick, files out of sequence. Closing the said USB stick and reinserting it, then opening again, now find files are now in ascending sequence. This appears to be required each time USB stick is inserted.
