A have a Web address saved in Edge Favourites, this address is frequently opened, requiring to open Edge. Can this address be saved in Desktop or File Explore for easy access?

    Bobby,
    Try this:
Go to the website using Edge.
    Select (highlight) the URL address.
    Right click and select “Copy”.
Navigate to the Desktop and right click.
    Select “New” and then “Shortcut”.
Paste in the URL web address.
    Click “Next”.
Type a name for the shortcut and select Finish.
Then check to make sure the new shortcut is on the Desktop.

    Virginia,
Thank you for response. Tried following your instructions, unfortunately just failed to materialise.
Right Clicking Web address, opens box showing : Open in new tab. Create new folder. Sort by name. Rename. Edit URL Delete.

Copy the address of the website/
Right click the DESKTOP (not the address) > New > Shortcut...continue with above instructions.

Virginia, Since our last responses, I made a thorough search of my notes kept over the years and found what I was searching for. Open Edge> click Favourites Icon> scroll down to Web address required> click it> in its page that opens> top right click --- icon> in opened window, scroll down to Print this Page to the Taskbar> close> check taskbar, if this is successful.
I knew that I had carried this exercise sometime ago, simply could not find reference to it, until now.

    Mr Bill,
    It certainly appears the case.
