I am using Windows 10 with Edge Browser. Somehow, I have no clue, I inadvertently set my font size smaller. It has impacted everything and all text is way too small. I use Incredimail as my default email & I can hardly read the listings in my "In Box". My Desktop Icons are also very small--much smaller than they were previously. When I right click on my desktop, and click on "view" the icon setting says "medium". I tried setting "large" and they become way too large. Much larger than before I ran into this problem. I have tried "Help" but can't find anything that addresses or fixes the very small text I am experiencing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hold down the CTRL key and press the + (plus) sign to make things bigger.... - (minus) sign to make things smaller.

Works for me. Did you use the Key Pad or the keyboard. Use the keyboard. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, the Ctrl. key and the scroll wheel will do the same thing.

Here's how to change the font size.
    1. Launch Edge from your Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
    2. Click the More button — it is located near the top-right corner of the window and looks like ...
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Click the dropdown arrow beneath Reading view font size. ...
    5. Click a font size.

I looked on my Edge which I have never really used as I prefer FF and it isn't there either. Doing some more checking, lots of people have this problem. All suggestions lead to the Ctrl and the Scroll wheel on a mouse or the Ctrl and the Plus or Minus sign. That works on mine as I just tried it.

Thank you again for your prompt response. I have tried Ctrl and the scroll wheel and it does work on some documents I opened. I use Comcast and find that my email InBox fonts and size are good but my Incredimail email software and also another software program I use - Medved Trader - which allows you to track multiple financial portfolios - all the text in that program does not respond to the Ctrl/mouse wheel. I have contacted both software providers and am waiting for a response as to how to change the font size. Thanks again for your help.

It looks more like you decreased the DPI settings, if you go to Windows Settings > Display, check what is under Scale and layout. This can also have been affected by a recent video driver update.

Hello, Arie & thanks for your response. I went to Scale & Layout and it is set at 100% which is "Recommended" I also looked at the info for "Custom Scaling". The 2 Apps I am having a real problem with are 1 Incredimail and 2 Medved Trader. These are not universally used apps BUT I have been using them successfully # 1 for many years and # 2 (including a recently updated version well over a year ago) for several years---The text of the Incredimail Inbox is extremely small and yet when I open the emails they are normal size. In Medved Trader the size of the text which is composed of stock symbols, their names, & numerals is also very small--much more so than it has ever been. I have perused the "Help" sections carefully & extensively but have been unable to find anything helpful and have contacted the developers but have not received responses yet.

To Arie, Mr Bill & Steve Jones, Going Bonkers over the small font size I have been experiencing on several of my frequently used programs I decided to go back to Scale & Layout this morning after having been referred there by Arie and try the 125% and so I changed the recommended setting of 100% to 125%. Voila--all the problems were resolved. How that setting get changed I don't have a clue as I don't remember being in that settings area for a long time. Anyway --a big Thank You to all of you for your Interest, time, and help!!! I will mark the thread solved. Bill E (bsilverfox)
