Trying to update my old Lenovo Yoga Tablet from V1703 to V1809 (Win 10 Home). Upgrade Assistant wants me to free up 8GB on my 32GB SSD drive (5.8GB free). I have a 16GB SD card installed but Windows won't allow me to use it. I plugged in a 32GB flash drive with the same result. I could uninstall most, if not all, programs to make room on C: but I'd rather not. Is there a way to use my SD card for temporary storage? Is there another route I can go?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. My brain must be on vacation. The SD card I was using wasn't formatted. Oops! A quick format to NTFS, and the update took off.

If it was me - I could claim a "senior moment" ;)
But you aren't the first I've seen run into this problem.
