Running out of space on my C: drive. It's only used for the operating system, but somehow space is slowly dwindling. What suggestions/steps would anyone have where I can basically image the existing OS and setup to a new larger HDD? I'm probably making it more difficult than what it is,but would like to get some suggestions. Thanks

    What OS are you using???
MS have a set process for transferring the OS to another HDD/SDD for those who need to increase the size of their storage when using W10.

How large/small is your current drive?

Have you tried running disk cleanup? You'll probably have to enable it first: Windows Server 2012: Enabling Disk Cleanup Utility

My Windows 2012 R2 install only takes 21GB (its a WSUS server, the WSUS database is on a secondary drive, 65GB in use).

Current drive is 60gb. I've added the disk cleanup feature, but can't reboot until after hours. I'll give that a try,but I'm not sure if that's going to net the amount of space I'd feel comfortable with. Is there a free disk management software that you can recommend to see what is eating up space? or see what files are taking x amount of space?.
