fatal exception message

Am getting "fatal exception oe at 0167:BFF9DBA7" message before computer asks to shut down. Is there anything I can do to fix? Thanks.

 

As the ol' "Shutdown Issue" has been seen, suffered through and answered by many of us, I dug through the archive files to see if I could find one that offered all or most of the suggestions and links that are often suggested. In addition........

Is a specific file or program mentioned that caused the OE?

Do a control\alt\del combo to bring up taskmanager just before shutdown to see what ya' got still running in the background. May be one of these guys just doesn't wanna' cooperate with a "End Task" command. Try ending the task manually on each and see if one of these spits out the error.
