    Try this:
    1. Click once within the following CODE box:
      Code:
      Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

      [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings]
      "ShowSleepOption"=dword:00000001

then press [Ctrl][A] to highlight everything in it, and then press [Ctrl][C] to copy it to memory in your computer.
    2. Press [Winkey][R], type in notepad.exe and press [Enter] to load Notepad.
    3. Now press [Ctrl][V] to paste in what you copied above into the Notepad window.
    4. Back over here on this page, click once withing the following CODE box:
      Code:
      %userprofile%\desktop\Add_Sleep_to_PowerMenu.reg
then press [Ctrl][A] to highlight everything in it, and then press [Ctrl][C] to copy it to memory in your computer.
    5. Back over in your Notepad window, click File > Save As..., then press [Ctrl][V] to paste in what you copied above into the "File nane:" box near the bottom.
    6. On the next line down, change what is in the "Save as type:" box to "All Files (*.*)", then click the "Save" button.
    7. You should now see a new file on your Desktop named "Add_Sleep_to_PowerMenu.reg". Double click it to merge it into the Windows registry, if/when prompted click "Yes" to the (UAC), then "OK" to approve the merge.
    8. That's it. If you like, you can now delete the .reg file on your Desktop.

    Check if available here:

    • Click on the Windows logo icon available on your taskbar.
    • Locate the Control Panel tile and click on it.
    • Go to Hardware and Sound and click it.
    • Select Power Options.
    • Navigate to Change plan settings.
    • Locate and click Change Advanced Power Settings.
