I am running Win 10 and trying to set a default in,

“Windows Settings, Personalization, Choose a fit, to the "Fill Selection".

When I set it, it goes back to “Tile” all the time after a reboot or when waking up from sleep setting.

How can I make “Fill Mode” the default so it doesn’t go back to “Tile”.

    It's got me baffled.

Can anyone help me. I would appreciate any suggestions.

The correct listing would be Settings, Personalization, Background, Picture, Fill.
What do you have chosen for your background? One single picture I presume? A picture of your own or one that came pre-installed on the computer?

    Thank you for the correction.
I have found a website called JBSpics. This translates to (John's background switcher) This is a software that links to their website and offers numerous pictures that can be used as background pictures for your PC. The will change automatically at pre selected intervals. So I have mine set to change every 15 minutes. It allows you to save the pics to a folder also which I do. This is where I run into a problem. When I want to view the pictures they sow up as tiled on the screen until I select some othe selection such as fill. Then it displays correctly but then goes back to tiled for the next pictures. I would like to lock in another setting like fill as a default and keep it like that until I change it. I hope this clarifies my question.
    Thanks

    Is this the web site??

    https://johnsad.ventures/software/backgroundswitcher/windows/

It appears to me that you cannot use the built in Windows Settings Personalization if you are using this software. You must control the settings from within that software.

The link I gave you will tell you how to do this.

Thanks for your suggestion. I guess I overlooked the settings selection. We'll see how it works. That is a great piece of software to keep your background pics interesting.
